Communicated directly with the Commanding Officer for tactical decision making and was the only person entrusted with weapons release authority. Led team efforts through two operational deployments in the Pacific Ocean and five international joint peacekeeping exercises.

Taught 130 hours of Naval Science material each semester to classes ranging in size from 160 to 220 students. Managed the academic careers of more than 150 college students and mentored students seeking careers in Naval Aviation. Oversaw command financial account, student summer training program, and numerous other command programs.

Helicopter Aircraft Commander responsible for the tactical implementation of SH-60B Seahawk helicopter's numerous sensors, weapons, and crew. Assistant Training Officer responsible for scheduling flight time and simulators for 60+ pilots to ensure all maintained or advanced their numerous qualifications. Detachment Operations Officer responsible for planning, scheduling, and integrating a 26 person helicopter operations with a naval ship.
