Working within the Engineering Work Based learning team, delivering and managing Level 4 Higher Apprenticeships. Was responsible for the co-ordination and development of Engineering Leadership apprentices, to produce well rounded individuals for business deployment. Assessing NVQ Level 4 to a range of Engineering disciplines, include Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Development and Testing. Had taken a lead in piloting a new E-Portfolio system for the Engineering department and always strived to improve and streamline processes.

Owned, managed and championed product fleet health, (Customer spares levels and engine technical standards). Was responsible for the co-ordination and development of apprentices during their 3 year program. Qualified NVQ assessor, specialising in Level 3 and 4 QCF qualifications in Manufacturing Engineering and Leadership. As well as the day to day management of the apprentices, also involved in project managing various work streams. These included the introduction of a restructurw within the Derby Apprentice and Graduate Association, leading the Apprentice German Exchange and organising Pre and Corporate Apprentice Induction for Rolls-Royce UK.

Worked on component validation, yield improvement and cost reduction. Liaising with IPT Leads, design engineering and the logistics teams to manage all NPI parts. Tasks included establishing the Trent 900 4K seal segment standard for the HP and IP casting. This work package involved developing the initial launch stages of the parts to full production readiness, while meeting tight timescales set by the Manufacturing Launch Plan. Completed a full BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree.
