Developed a civil and complex commercial litigation practice. Handled and litigated commercial contract and real estate disputes, construction contracts, products liability cases and general corporate matters. Served as the de facto outside general counsel for my father’s elevator company after he had been diagnosed with advanced Parkinson’s disease. In this capacity, I provided consultation, review, negotiation and preparation on a wide variety of contracts and maintenance agreements for his elevator company. Further, worked with my father and a foreign elevator company on an international agreement and potential joint venture involving the development of a new-patented process for elevators.
