Not wishing to be reactive or resigned, I take an active role towards enhancing my work environment and empowering my colleagues. I pride myself on actively pursuing tasks, should I feel my work load is waning, and on delivering timely solutions to a variety of challenges. Having had 3 written publications, and serving as RA for a fourth, I take great pleasure in researching, writing, and contesting my passions, with my angle of approach one of education rather than condescension. We can all only know so much, and it is vital that we rely on our various networks to bolster and round out our areas of ignorance and inexperience. Most recently, I have taken to the study of kinesiology as a personal interest to better assist youth athletes in the climbing world with their life-long development in a progressive and injury-free manner. I have found no personal endeavor as rewarding as education, with a catcher-in-the-rye approach to mental and emotional well-being.
