The first half of my professional career was centered around the Greater New York Real Estate market. Working with both the Commercial Real Estate and Multi Family asset management firms offered an understanding of the challenges faced by property managers of a wide variety of asset classes.While in the multi-family sector I developed an interest in energy efficiency and a belief that a strategic focus in commodity supply cost risk management and energy efficiency projects is one of the few, if not only, actionable methods by which a property owner can reduce operating costs and increase asset value. That interest led me to pursue a career in the energy industry. During the second half of my professional career I've worked with wholesale energy supply firms, several energy retailers as well as an energy efficiency project firm. That experience has afforded me a unique perspective of the tangible value that a targeted energy action plan can offer real estate professionals and property owners.
