Managed the day to day operations of the Lisle data center, which supported up to 1000 users. This included scheduling and prioritizing operator duties and projects, evaluating customer requests, and developing data center policies. Also served as a member of the shutdown team, which created application archives, shutdown the data center, and disposed of $2M in assets.

Supported the MVS data communication needs for an Amdahl mainframe used for synchronous testing. Installed and maintained packages, such as VTAM, ACF/NCP, ACF/SSP and NetView. Collected requirements from testers to build the gens for four IBM communication controllers: one 3720, one 3745, and two 3725.

Provided MVS systems support for a production data center running two IBM mainframes. Included installing and maintaining operations support packages such as the tape management system, managing disk space, and auditing production libraries. Supported two IBM Series/1 mini-computers that provided continuous transaction processing and queuing during mainframe outages.
