Logistics Analyst
CurrentServes as a Logistics Analyst for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) providing logistical and technical expertise on the Army and Navy Radar Surveillance and Control Model 2 (AN/TYP-2). Plans, develops, implements, executes and manages Integrated Product Support (IPS) to achieve desired life cycle logistics outcomes. Utilize Log Tools to assist in analyzing and assessing life cycle logistics support for MDA’s weapon systems used to meet the needs of forward deployed service members. Includes logistics analysis and studies aligned with the 12 IPS Elements.Validates and verifies that the Radar System has sufficient spares is necessary to ensure that the system will be able to support the flight test and meet all of the necessary mission assurance requirements. This inventory also identifies any Mission Critical (MC) Spares shortages so that plans can be developed to mitigate any shortage which is vital due to the remote location of the flight test. Developed a Site Storage Analysis to assist SNX-S leadership in determining how to best distribute repair parts and spares throughout the fleet. This will reduce not only downtime at sites, but also reduce inflated shipping cost due to repair parts and/or critical spares will be located in immediate vicinity of sites.Coordinates with the Warfighter for the Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) radar system repair. This coordination between all stakeholders ensures that vital repair is completed in a timely manner without any negative effects to the Warfighter’s mission.
