Christopher Peddy is the Quality Control Supervisor for Focus Pointe Global in Philadelphia. He was born in Jamaica West Indies and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia State University, he discovered his love for helping people when he became Building Manager for Duncan Genns Senior Citizen apartments in 1989. As a Christian Businessman, he was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, who owned Duncan Genns apartments, and was there Youth Director, and Director of Guild of Servers.He left apartment management to follow his interest in the development of young minds and in 1999 was appointed by the non-profit Community In Schools of Philadelphia (CISP) as advisor and developer of MARS (Males Achieving Responsibility Successfully). This successful male mentoring program led him to develop an investment training program for high school students and grew the summer job program for CISP to more than 2000 students each year. He then developed a unique Customer Service Training Program for teachers and staff of the School District of Philadelphia which is also being considered by other school districts. Troubled by the growing anger of the teenage population he developed a Rites of Passage program which he adopted for Sharon Baptist Church, his new church home, when he was appointed to their Community Development Council. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Alpha to Omega in Senior Care. “Community development is at the heart of all that he does.
