In my current role, I manage a team of 20 and lead the strategy and operations for $400M+ grants portfolio. Throughout my tenure, my role has evolved as the organization increased staff from 3 to over 100 and the AUM increased from $2.3B to over $8B.• Ensure the Board’s and CEO’s visions are reflected in programmatic and operational plans and strategies for a $400 million grantmaker with $30+ million in operating budget. As a trusted partner, regularly engage on key strategic questions. Collaborate with executive staff and board of Trustees on issues related to change management, team development and growth, goal focused strategy design and implementation resulting in a growth minded work culture during times of transition.• Directly supervise foundation operations, knowledge management, and grants management, ensuring effective allocation of resources, sound programmatic plans and strategies, and adherence to ethical grantmaking principles.• Develop and innovate the foundation’s strategic process, including setting goals, allocating budgets, defining measures of success, and monitoring progress while managing a team of 20+ FTE across departments including grants management, office operations/facilities, and knowledge management.• Develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and procedures to promote fluidity, encourage collaboration, combat silos, and enhance integration across program areas. Advise and support internal leaders in areas of growth and talent strategy - such as spearheading the inaugural staff engagement survey. • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve organization wide policies and procedures with a focus on operationalizing strategic initiatives and embedding organizational values into systems and workflows resulting in a streamlined giving process for 2500+ grants.• Foster and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including community and nonprofit leaders and public agencies in addition to internal executives and board leadership.• Design and oversee implementation of systems to facilitate optimal organizational and staff development, performance, and sustainability with a keen eye of UI/UX, integrations maximizing productivity.• Ensure the design and implementation of a long-range strategy in order to: maintain financial health and implement policy priorities; ensure the organization meets its annual budget; and implement sound financial practices.• Contribute to the development of 10+ programs across various focus areas. Served on the board of an association for grants management professionals. Completed a two-year term as board Co-Chair. Highlights include leading board meetings, engaging in strategic planning, approving of organizational budget, and serving on the committee for the organization's first capital campaign - which surpassed its goal.

Formerly known as Gilda’s Club Worldwide, national headquarters of an organization providing comprehensive psychosocial services to local communities through more than 50 franchises around the country.• Stabilized fundraising program during a time of leadership transition while building relationships with the 20-member Board of Directors, Young Leadership Committee, and the broader community to expand giving and increase engagement.• Navigated the restructuring process and merger of organization with The Wellness Community and was selected as one of six core staff to remain with the headquarters organization to ensure successful transition.

One of the country’s leading social enterprises providing services and support programs, including workforce development, childcare, after school care, and housing, to more than 2,200 individuals annually.• Managed relationships with institutional funders which led to 100% growth in fundraising during tenure and securing the organization’s largest grant (a one-year, $1 million award).• Promoted from Grants Associate within a year of employment. Demonstrated advanced skills in communication, organization positioning, and accelerating fundraising. • Created logic models, including indicators, for 12 programs and three overarching initiatives to build outcomes measurement system, including supervising a capstone team from NYU.• Consulted with the organization’s hallmark program (Greyston Bakery – providing jobs to unemployed, low-income individuals) to develop and test new bakery products for wholesale distribution. Products were distributed by the company and retailers, such as Whole Foods, creating a new revenue stream.
