Community Passageways is a mid-sized nonprofit with a focus on restorative justice, violence prevention, and social impact. It is a critical pillar in the community safety system that seeks to de-escalate violence, reduce crime, and support youth and young adults in crisis. Community Passageways offers a variety of services that are evidence based and data forward and works with a myriad of regional partner including King County, the City of Seattle, and the federal government.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES◾Manage IT and data team including vendors, contractors, database admins, and technical staff.◾Implement organizational-wide technology updates.◾Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including databases, software, network, computers and other equipment.◾Build and maintain client database.◾Ensure security of data, network access and critical business systems.◾Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and legal requirements as it relates to data and technology.◾Ensure success of helpdesk, assisting in ticket remediation when needed.◾Manage external vendors / service providers, negotiate contracts, manage the finances and assure delivery of services.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS◾Planned, developed, and delivered a robust data lake architecture utilizing Microsoft Fabric bringing real-time and actionable insights from company data.◾Coordinated, and delivered the opening of three new office locations. This included the implementation of network equipment, security systems, computers, printers, and conference rooms.◾Planned, coordinated and delivered several major updates to critical business systems including endpoint management, MDM, KWS migration to M365, implementation of multiple new financial systems and an overhaul of the client management database.◾Planned, coordinated and delivered major updates to bring organization into compliance with contractual and data security requirements.◾Created, and delivered multiple organizational technology trainings.
