I started my aviation career in the army as an Apache helicopter maintainer at 19. After transitioning out of the military I got to work on heavy equipment as a service technician with equipment such as excavators, skid loaders, earth movers, etc and I did that for a few years. Once I had gained some experience in the civilian world I moved into the transportation industry where I repaired tractor trailers on train yards and then to a shop. I maintained semi trailers as I completed A&p school. Towards the end of school I worked in construction building and remodeling homes. Once I had finished school I moved to Charlotte Nc to work for Piedmont airlines where I stayed for a 2+ years and then decided to try contracting where I found virgin galactic. After a year of contracting with virgin I came on full time and that’s where I am currently.
