In my current role as Associate Principal and Product Owner at The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), I championed the development and now serve as the product owner for a proprietary real-time portfolio risk management tool used to assess clearing members' exposures. Notably, I leveraged Agile methodologies to translate business requirements into user stories and collaborated with UX/UI developers to guide product build-out, implementation, and ongoing support.Throughout my tenure at OCC, I progressed from contributor to manager to director and now in my current role as principal and product owner. With experience from all sides of the product life cycle, I am proud of the significant impacts I made throughout multiple business units. I received a 2017 Chairman Award for leadership contributions on the Comprehensive Stress Testing system, a financial safeguard support evaluated and regulated by the SEC. I also rank in the top 5 to 10% of company performers in recognition of my ability to foster relationships, operate independently, critical thinking prowess, and strong work ethic.In addition, I transitioned our team to a shared services model as well as helped establish a Center of Excellence to encourage continuous improvement. A team player and natural leader, I am often selected as the "go-to person" to address complex technical and process challenges in requirements analysis, business process modeling, application design, data modeling, data mining, data analytics, software development life cycle (SDLC), quality assurance, release management, and product support. I stay current in best practices and the latest technology through participating in OCC's Center of Excellence, taking courses, and earning my certification as a Business Analyst Professional (CBAP). Prior to joining OCC, I spent my early career at Accenture. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and professional sports.
