I have over 27 years of experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and delivering technical/operator training for Public Safety/Military grade Analog and IP based radio and radio dispatch systems. I started my career in Radio Communications in 1994 as an Electronics Technician 3rd Class in the United States Navy. I have extensive installation, and troubleshooting experience with HF, UHF LOS and Satellite voice and data communications systems, and Cryptographic equipment . After being honorably discharged from the Navy I gained IP proficiency installing, repairing, and upgrading networked printers, copiers, and faxes. I gained extremely valuable experience in other facets of commercial electronics support via contract positions. These positions included creating and implementing ESD processes for several companies, and as a beta manufacturing technician where my duties included testing/updating manufacturing procedures, BOM's, and build instructions that were to be implemented for a large scale gaming company. For the last 17 years I have been a member of the Zetron Technical Support Department supporting Public Safety grade radio dispatch systems most recently. After climbing the ranks to Technical Support Engineer Level 4, I moved to the Technical Account Manager role working with Premier resellers to resolve highly escalated, political, and complex issues that require interfacing with stakeholders from Engineering, Dispatch Directors, and high level executives. In addition to my support activities I create training content as well as proctor several of Zetron's factory certification courses for technicians, as well as onsite operator training courses. In addition to performing trainer duties I have also acted in a sales engineer capacity creating and delivering content for sales demonstrations at customer sites as needed as well as assisting Sales Engineers with questions concerning RFQ's/RFP's.In my free time I enjoy Public Speaking as a Toastmaster. The decade I have spent as a Toastmaster has been extremely rewarding. I have found a passion for helping others find their talent, their voice, and their message in a mentorship capacity.
