When pursuing a degree in music at the University of North Texas, I came to the realization that I needed to fund this degree. I didn't really have a stable source of income after I dropped everything to follow my dream. I decided to join the Army in order to help pay for this dream. It was in the Army that I realized the dream I had was a misconstrued vision of unnecessary praise. I also felt pressured to pursue this degree. I always wanted to do something that deals with computers, however. I remember dabbling with Arduino to create code for addressable LEDs to be used in my computer case. I remember modeling and coding entity movements in Minecraft for some friends. Doing these things were so exciting to me. So I decided to change my major to computer science.I am a hard working individual. I will do whatever it takes in order to reach my goal. I find that I am very patient and willing to work on an issue until it is resolved. I work full time and I am a student full time. Because of my work ethic, I plan to have very little debt once I complete school. My past job experience is heavily invested in customer service and sales. This type of job is great for me because it provides challenges that I will need to overcome. Sales quotas might be hard to meet one month because of traffic or a customer might be difficult to talk to. I would need to be able to find a solution that made everyone happy. Sometimes that meant advertising or going beyond that extra mile for the customer. Even at the hardest of times, I will never give up because I have a goal.
