The Business Services Representative (BSR), under the supervision of the Program Director & Program Coordinator, performs professional work identifying businesses and industries to develop career and employment opportunities for job and career seekers. BSR have strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and analytical skills while supporting services that are in alignment with agency goals, objectives, mission and style within a team framework.

To provide staff support to the Mayor or a City Council member including research, analysis of data, problem and dispute resolution, receiving and responding to community contacts and conducting special studies. Collect and compile data; conduct surveys; prepare reports on assigned activities.Contact citizens; work with the public to determine desired services. Work with governmental and other agencies to secure services for City residents. Develop and coordinate special events to enhance community awareness of City services; inform City residents of public and private services available.Attend meetings and answer routine correspondence. Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other City employees and the public using principles of good customer service.

To provide advice to the city council on matters related to the support of Veterans. To encourage and promote patriotism, studying future needs of Veteran's, such as veterans homes and halls, providing a form to discuss it she's related to military veterans, formulating and recommending a city position and endorsement regarding propose legislation affecting Veterans and military personnel

As the director of volunteer outreach I'm responsible for coordinating key components to support the successful execution of fundraising events, program activities, volunteer management/ recruitment, volunteer relations, and assist with administrative tasks.
