Capability Development Process Lead

I was also Chief, Joint Deliberate Plans and Chief, Joint Training Systems, as well as Senior Space Officer at US Special Operations Command. As a result of I was selected as Executive Officer to the Air Force Chief of Safety and the Center Director for Special Operations Operational Plans at USSOCOM. As a private contractor, I supported the Joint Training Branch of the Joint Staff Operational Plans and Joint Force Development Directorate for six years. I led several ground-breaking initiatives, including development of the Air Force protocols for determination of Satellite System Safety Mishaps, development of the new concept for USNORTHCOM as a combatant command, design and stand-up of a the new Center for Knowledge and Futures at USSOCOM, and stand-up of a Space Operations Office at USSOCOM. I justified the need for a Critical Infrastructure Protection program as USSOCOM and as a result, obtained $1m from the Office of the Secretary of Defense to stand up the program. I conducted the negotiations and was able to bring a six-person contract team on board to develop the program, which I managed.
