Also ensuring the team follows GSOP legislation. • Reporting to directors and other high level management regarding team performance, issues faced and high profile promotions. • Leading a depot move and arranging for stock to be transferred between the old and new site for 900 products. • Engaging with key stakeholders regarding promotional plans, range changes and other activity to ensure business needs are met. • Working with logistics colleagues to ensure that pick estimates are accurate and costs are not exceeded in this area. • Challenging poor performance with any stakeholder which will impact the business. • Communicating with our wholesale division to ensure their requirements are met. Achievements:• Leading team to the best availability performance for the past 10 years. • Managing the largest range change in wine that the company has attempted and being praised by the Supply Chain Director for how well it went. • Managing the Minimum Unit Pricing legislation change in May 2018, and overseeing a sales improvement of 300% for the category in stores on the border of Scotland at the time of the change.• In 2018 I completed the ECR Horizons Program following workshops throughout the year. This gave me a better understanding of the end to end supply chain.

Responsibilities:‬• Day to day ordering of all products that the company takes from the UK.• Import products from around the world, some countries that I have worked with are Australia, Chile and South Africa, France and Germany.• Plan and deliver high value promotions in store through detailed planning and effectively communicating with the commercial team.• Responsible for forecasting and purchasing plans. • Work with suppliers to ensure availability and build value to joint business plans.• Controlling costs, for example reducing depot stock holding and ensuring we are not bringing unnecessary costs into the business. • Being team trainer and taking a lead in new systems that the company is integrating. For example leading the team in wine supplier shutdowns, Christmas closures and training new starters. Achievements: • Achieving the best availability figures in store for the category for the previous five years. • Delivering a £4 million year on year improvement in spirits depot stock holding for half year in July 2017.• Implementing a new process with our spirits suppliers so that we are aligned on forecasts by producing a forecasting spreadsheet that both the supplier and I complete. • Being nominated for supply chain colleague of the year in my first full year of being at the business.‬

Responsibilities:• Analysis of a major retailer’s purchasing and financial data.• Creating formal claims to suppliers for significant monies owed.• Forecasting supplier audit periods and meeting audit targets.• Formatting financial audits, creating supporting evidence and sending claims.Achievements:• Substantial commercial understanding of corporate finance.• Developed knowledge of all Microsoft Packages, particularly Microsoft Excel. • Working under my own initiative, whilst also reviewing the work of others.• Due to my strong performance on placement, I was offered the change to re-join the company as a Senior Commercial & Trade Analyst following the completion of my degree.

Responsibilities:• Have public interaction when serving them on the tills and when serving them their food.• Following all health and safety procedures thoroughly when working with food to avoid any problems.• Deal with cash transactions at the till point and then counting the money at the end of the day.• Using receipts for orders I had to ensure that all orders had been delivered correctly and that our store had received all the food that had been ordered.Achievements: • Understanding of the commercial environment.• Worked as part of a successful team where sales were growing year on year.• Taught new members of staff how to operate and follow the procedure set at the workplace.
