HS2 OnNetwork enabling works - modifications to Euston Station as part of HS2 forward works

Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade Project. Project scope includes upgrading the existing station to accommodate construction of a new Crossrail station. Taylor-Woodrow (Vinci) / BAM Nuttall, 50:50 joint venture. Working through Carmichael UK.

Leighton Contractors Pty Limited has been awarded the Elizabeth Quay inlet and public space development contract for the Western Australian State Government, worth approximately $200m. The work will be carried out by Leighton Contractors in conjunction with its subsidiary Broad Construction Services (WA) Pty Ltd.

City East AllianceSeptember 2011 - April 2013The City East Alliance, comprising Leighton Contractors, GHD and NRW, were selected by Main Roads WA to design and construct the upgrade of 4.2km of Great Eastern Highway. The project saw the stretch of road upgraded to comprise of six lanes with a central median, on-road cycling facilities and a continuous pedestrian path.Wellington Dam Alliance2010- September 2011The Wellington Dam Alliance was formed to undertake the strengthening of Wellington Dam. Wellington Dam is a 35m high concrete dam with an Extreme Hazard rating that requires strengthening to be able to pass the required Probable Maximum Flood (PMF). The strengthening of the dam was undertaken using 43 post tensioned ground anchors. In order to carry out the post tensioning works the Alliance constructed a bridge across the top of the spillway. Due to the geometry of the dam, the bridge construction required a number of high level cutting edge temporary works structures. Contract value of $40 million (AUS).

Leighton Contractors were involved in the construction of Woodside’s new Pluto Liquified Natural Gas Plant. Package 1 of the civil works consisted of concrete foundations (29,000 m3), cable trenches (6,000precast units), cable laying (400 km), glass fibre reinforced epoxy (GRE) underground pipe work, earthworks backfill (125,000 m3), roadworks and ground slabs (38,000 m2)
