Responsible for managing a group of buyer/planners. Entering parts in the system and linking them to Engineering BOM's. Responsible for buying planned orders, stock orders, purchasing motors and reducers for new capital projects.

Responsible for buying planned orders, and stock orders. Entering parts in the system and linking them to Engineering BOM's. I also assist with buying inventory items from China and following up on orders to maintain proper inventory levels. I am in charge of purchasing motors and reducers for new capital projects.

I was responsible for all off the shelf procurement, buying custom parts (cable harnessing, machined parts, etc..) from drawings and communicating with engineers and vendors to ensure the purchase of proper parts. I maintained budget by always finding the most cost effective part without sacrificing quality. I was also the receiving agent in charge of receiving inventory and distributing it to the correct departments.
