As a Construction Engineering and Management student at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, I aim to apply my passion for the safety and wellbeing of others to a field that caters to that precedence in a new setting. I am pursuing an emphasis in Construction Management, as I believe it synthesizes my analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills and takes it toward an avenue that applies team cohesion in dynamic settings.I have a strong background in trauma care and patient safety. I have spent five years in service as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. (Duty stations included: Naval Hospital, Okinawa and 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division). Responsibilities involved exercising emergency medical care, trauma and mass casualty response, supply maintenance/procurement, and implementing health education to over 1,000 Marines and Sailors.I thrive in diverse, dynamic, high-stress environments, and I love the challenges ahead. In my leisure, I enjoy doing anything active, such as beach volleyball, hiking, golfing, and lifting.
