Manager of Business Planning and Analysis*Maintains, refines, and rebuilds complex business planning models to maximize accuracy in forecasting future financial results and analyze changes to our business. Performs monthly financial reviews and analysis of updates to planning models. *Manages ad hoc regulatory, financial and operating analysis supporting due diligence studies related to corporate development, capital investment and corporate financing.*Oversees the annual preparation of the margin budget ($2+ Billion). Assists corporate accounting in monthly variance analysis and re-projections.*Oversees the spending and closing capital targets/forecasts ($3+ Billion). Evaluates and communicates the financial impact of various scenarios to management.*Establishes metrics and identifies key performance indicators to evaluate operational performance and report to senior management.*Collaborates with leaders across the enterprise to provide data and lend expertise to help achieve business and financial performance goals.*Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, trains, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.*Develops, recommends, implements and monitors policies and procedures for the Company's budgeting process including annual budget and long-range financial forecasts and plans, quarterly revised financial forecasts and monthly, quarterly and year-to-date variance analysis.*Performs various financial analyses of historical financial results such as cash flow, financial statements, etc. to determine the impact on earnings per share, discounted cash flow, return on equity and other financial ratios.*Utilizes forecasting methodologies to create sophisticated models of business operations.*Presents planning and analysis reviews to appropriate management personnel.*Directs the development, implementation and enhancement of computerized and manual budgeting and appropriation systems to ensure operational efficiency.*Develops and monitors functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Plans and directs the achievement of area goals and objectives within established Company policies.
