Working closely with in-store management to ensure a safe and legal store by planning and delivering training events, identifying and responding to the training needs of individual departments. Also the role includes providing one-to-one coaching to ensure support is in place for new starters. Adapting to different peoples learning types/styles and ensuring the training is right for them by building strong relationships in a confident manner. Training courses I have been required to deliver include Food safety and new colleague inductions.The role requires me to manage an excel tracker accurately imputing colleagues legal, compliance and departmental training in a timely manner to ensure its kept up to date and current. Reporting information to the Regional HR Partner each month and keeping the stores training commitment high. Also required to define what training courses would benefit colleagues and managers within the store and report what courses would be neededOne of the KPI’s for the trainer role is uniform budgets and making sure colleagues are ordering to correct levels and achieving the stores budget, this was achieved for 2015/2016.Other duties within the role include Payroll using a payroll system called BMAS making sure all colleagues are paid to company policy and correctly. Also other HR applications include Oracle and List for colleague administration including imputing holidays and contract changes. I have involvement in recruitment and making sure colleagues are recruited into the correct hours and roles.As part of my half yearly review I achieved ‘Exceeding’ as my role within learning and development and HR function (as of February 2016)
