Christopher advises Weill Cornell Medicine, a college of Cornell University, on a range of operational, business and transactional matters critical to the ongoing success of a world-class institution. These include project development; agreements with other educational and healthcare institutions; communications and community engagement; issues of privacy, confidentiality, liability and risk allocation; external affairs, including branding, community engagement, and government relations; advice to Weill Cornell's Center for Reproductive Medicine; software licensing and other IT matters; service contracts; and international matters arising out of the Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar campus and other locations worldwide where Weill Cornell Medicine has activities. Christopher received a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Colgate University; an M.A. from the University of Chicago; and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. Prior to joining the Cornell University Office of General Counsel, he was an Associate General Counsel in the commercial unit of the Office of the General Counsel of The City University of New York. From 2009 to 2015, Christopher was an associate at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where he advised clients on the development of international joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and other large-scale commercial transactions.
