Oversees Human Resources department operations for all New York City-based programs as well focuses on all agency benefit initiatives & programs.

Coordinate employee orientation process with HR staff and Agency supervisors, stays apprised of all current labor laws, reporting and record keeping requirements, assist as required in collecting pay related information for accurate payroll processing, responsible for maintaining accurate and complete personnel and benefit information in HR information and payroll systems and vendor websites, verify Unemployment Claim information as needed, sit on HR or other job-related committees as directed.

Assists and contributes to the multi-faceted and ever-evolving growth of both Human Resources as a department, but also to Cayuga Centers as a human services agency. I have been immersed in personnel file management, labor law compliance, New York State & Federal regulations, employee relations, recruiting, and implementation of new systems and processes.

Manages up to twenty two employees * Effectively and continually hires, trains, coaches, and disciplines employees * Consistently maintains labor expense by effective scheduling * Ensures that department budget allocations are not exceeded regarding guest, laundry, cleaning, and equipment supplies * Orders all department supplies monthly while handling all relevant purchase orders and invoices * Forecasts hotel occupancy to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met, while also corresponding with hotel’s sales team to accommodate all food & beverage functions * Inspects all common public areas, guest rooms, and food outlets to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance are maintained * Addresses all customer service for the department * Ensures department is compliant with all NYS Labor laws and OSHA requirements regarding chemical and hazardous material use*
