After earning his MFA from the USC School Of Cinematic Arts, he made his feature directing debut in 2006 with Bonneville, an ensemble road movie. Rowley directed and co-created the original story for the film, which attracted Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Joan Allen, Tom Skerritt and Christine Baranski.He directed the family fantasy film Molly Moon: The Incredible Hypnotist, based on the bestselling children’s book series. The film features Emily Watson, Dominic Monaghan, Lesley Manville, Celia Imrie, Joan Collins and newcomer 12 year-old Raffey Cassidy who went from playing Molly to a leading role in Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland for Disney.Rowley currently has several features, television series and a Broadway musical in development.
