Skilled in Operations.Current Job position: Head BrewerI support the general operation of the brewery, Including day to day operations and taste testing of the beer.Current Duties and Responsibilities:• Oversee operations from Brew house and cellar.• Yeast management( preparing yeast for the day, maintain yeast records)• Carbonation adjustment for the beer being packaged for the day.• Helping out with anything the Brewmaster/Assistant Brewmaster needs• Inspect machines and equipment for hazards, operating efficiency, malfunctions wear and leaks.• Collect samples of materials or product for laboratory analysis.• Clean or sterilizes tanks, screens, inflows pipes, production areas, or equipment using hoses, brushes, scrapers or chemical solutions.• Assists with installation, maintenance and repair of hoses, pumps, filters or screen.• Assembles fittings, valves, bowls, plates, disks, impeller shafts and other parts of equipment in order to prepare equipment for operation.• Ensures beer is brewed according to recipe, follow all brewing and cleaning standards• Daily equipment maintenance, daily housekeeping duties.Other proficient skills:• Cellar work, transferring beer in-between tanks• Filtration of the beer, knowledge on how to operate a Hanndtamn mms DE filter, Pall supradisc stack filter• Operating bottling line(GAI 3003A bier bottle filler) and keg technik keging filler• certified Forklift operation• Inventory product and materialsI have worked at Penn brewery for almost 10 years combine. started working the bottle shop learning the basics. learned how to operate the machinery and maintain it.
