Coordinate 3rd echelon maintance or higher maintenance cycles with the appropriate detailed list of discrepancies.-Supervise preventive maintenance schedules and corrosion control cycles for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicles.-Support licensing programs by training Marines in preventive maintenance records and initiate action to correct discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.-Inspect all vehicles for safe and proper operation.

-Employ firefighting equipment and extinguishing materials to rescue victims involved in aircraft crashes and to fight fires. -Typical duties include operating, servicing, inspecting, and testing aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles, firefighting systems, controls, and rescue equipment, controls and rescue equipment. -Instructing personnel in the techniques and procedures rescue and firefighting.
