Strategic Sourcing Consultant
Current- Develop and implement business strategy- Manage spend categories and develops supply chain strategies for high risk and highly regulated, products, services, and suppliers who have significant strategic business impacts- Evaluate company purchasing patterns and forecast trends- Review and approve benchmark standards and conduct gap analysis with best practices- Work with management and key stakeholders to determine the long-term needs and applicable supply and service strategies- Lead structured analysis of supplier industry, economics, and market conditions- Partner with business groups to coordinate, run, issue, and evaluate sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, etc.)- In collaboration with senior business stakeholders, determines negotiation strategy and controls all aspects of sourcing and contracts negotiations- Customize legal language and drafts non-standard contract terms and conditions- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements- Establish e-business (procure-to-pay), diversity, environmental and supply chain cost reduction strategies to continually improve category effectiveness and efficiencies- Identify and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) process improvements to reduce costs- Proactively identify and escalate risk-related issues and presents resolution options- Accountable for cost saving and avoidance targets for multiple categories and supplier performance measurements- Develop & deliver management reporting
