Since 1995 I have experience of co-ordinating the teaching of Technology in a secondary, special needs. As well as P E lessons I also coached pupils of mixed abilities in after-school clubs and ran school badminton teams competing with pupils from other Coventry schools.I have played league badminton with a number of clubs the most recent of which was Ash Green who were based at Nicholas Chamberlain School.I am currently playing casual badminton with the U3A group.

I worked as a supply Teacher delivering Art, Design Technology, Geography & Music as well as general subjects.Part of my role was supporting children with Special Educational-needs such as hearing impairments and Learning Difficulties. I also formed and coached a very successful School Badminton team with boys and girls from Years 7-11 as well as running an after-school Badminton Club.

For my first 5 years of teaching I taught Art, CDT (Technology), Geography & music as well as general subjects in a variety of secondary mainstream schools in Coventry.

I worked free-lance and was a self-employed Architect for a period of about 18 months before joining System Floors who specialised in raised floors for computer services. I then worked on the staff with the company for 7 years and while I was there I worked on C. A. D. and product research & development. I was made company architect for the system offices group and designed the new factory extension.
