I work as a senior advisor to medical simulation across the Army. I work directly with the Director of Simulation in managing five divisions that set policy and guidance for all combat medics. In this position, I work closely with the Defense Medical Modeling and Simulation Office (DMMSO) to define requirements for medical simulation across the Army. The Army Directorate of Simulation (ADOS) standardizes and accredits medical simulation devices to ensure they meet the need of the force to maintain medical proficiency in their individual critical tasks. I coordinate and develop medical simulation scenarios for expirements, casualty response, and patient care training across the force using expertise in medical simulation derived from working at the Joint Base Lewis McChord Medical Simulation Training Center.
