Routine patching and firmware updates, manual DHCP configuration, system isolation (air-gapped) via 150’ of buried Cat 6e cabling, user accounts with least privileges access (Administrator, Operator, Maintenance, View Only), and system hardening to shrink attack surface; disabled unnecessary ports, enforced MFA for remote access to ICS network, changed default passwords, integrity checks on firmware, etc.
