    I show beginner to advanced guitarists how to become musicians. I teach from the book "Lessons for Life (and Guitar)" written by Chris Mitchell (my first guitar teacher and now my boss). I also use supplemental material found on my website. Students come for a 30-minute, once a week, private lesson with me. I generally don't teach how to read music. Most students want to learn rock/country/acoustic guitar so that's what I've catered my lesson plans to. I love teaching guitar and never feel like I go to work.

There was a class helper who knew enough about music and guitar to help students practice on my off days. The school went through heavy budget cuts and I lost the position.
