Quality Improvement Director
SCO's Quality Improvement program embeds Quality Improvement teams with the Service delivery professionals. As Director of Quality Improvement, leadership, coordination and facilitation of the activities of the embedded teams is core responsibility. Additionally the Department's mandate also includes partnering with Service Delivery Departments to plan or revise program strategy to close gaps in practice and promote positive outcomes for the clients we serve.These activities include- Data Collection, analysis and reporting to State, City, Board of Directors and agency leadership- Utilization of Quality Improvement forensic techniques to drive process excellence through the cultivation of a learning environment- Development Quality Systems platforms for data management facilitating data- driven decision making and incident management- Collaborate with Service Program leadership to develop, track, monitor Key Performance Indicators to facilitate operational oversight with principles of business analytics- Maintenance of accreditation with Council on Accreditation, whose standards promote organizational structure and best practice, as well as with Preasidium Inc, whose protocols drive risk and liability reduction in the dimensions of abuse and neglect. -Program Evaluation and Performance which includes the interpretation of SWOT analyses and translation of the cited themes to develop Logic Models. These Logic Models contain the blueprint of activities, resources and indicators in furtherance of the promoting positive client Outomes. The indicators are monitored for inter-quartile change, with negatively trending metrics prompting root cause analysis and remediation strategies using PDSA metholodogy.Understanding the ever changing landscape of the Non- profit, Human service sub- sector, this role is also requires collaboration with senior agency leadership to develop, operationalize, execute and revise strategies.
