Electrical Design Engineer
CurrentAs an Electrical Design Engineer at COTSWORKS, I am instrumental in developing and refining the detailed electrical design content for the company's rugged optical transceiver modules, catering to the thriving Military and Aerospace market. My responsibilities span comprehensive research, testing, analysis, and the complete spectrum of new product design processes.Key Responsibilities:-Electrical Design Expertise: Define and deliver intricate electrical design output, creating detailed electrical design specifications for high-speed communication systems, including optical sub-assemblies, analog, digital, microcontroller, and FPGA elements.-Collaborative Testing and Documentation: Conduct front-end simulations or physical testing while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific design standards. Produce and maintain documentation adhering to AS9145, PPAP DFMEA, and DFM criteria.-Support and Communication: Provide extensive support to Sales and Product Marketing by generating data sheets, application notes, and offering technical support. Engage in thorough research to fulfill customer requirements and contribute to seamless production line support as needed.
