• Lead site compliance (E.g. Customer Specific Requirements, AS9100D, NADCAP, FAI) including the facilitation of audits • Develop and implement quality plans, processes, and procedures using statistical quality control techniques, lean manufacturing concepts and quality methodologies• Interface with customers and counterparts, including engineering, to resolve complex issues and create Quality improvement plans through extensive analysis and investigation• Monitor and audit performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency• Communicate quality control information to relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors• Create, write and distribute procedures, manuals and work instructions• Read, write and interpret blueprints and specifications to create and follow inspection plans, including FAIs• Manage reviews of procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with internal standards• Operate specialized and standard quality inspection and testing equipment (e.g. CMM, Mass Spectrometer, Hardness tester, Tensile Tester, Xray NDT, Mag Particle NDT, calipers, micrometers, surface testers, granite slabs) to inspect items related to various stages of manufacturing such as: tooling, castings, machined items.• Establish and maintain a metrology program to ensure all instruments are accurate and provide valid measurements, including sourcing, procurement and in-house and outsourced calibrations• Authorize, prepare, review and sign quality documentation to submit to customer
