Providing support as a member of the Operations Team to the Project Manager, Infantry Brigade Combat Team (PM IBCT) and as a Senior Program System Analyst to the Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) Planning Division within the Program Executive Office-Integration (PEO-I)/System of Systems Integration (SoSI) in the US Army. Duties include: Assisting in strategic planning for Increment 1, a multi-year Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) and the bi-annual NIE conducted at Ft. Bliss, TX, the Army’s flagship modernization evaluation exercise to ensure that fielding mandates are met; monitoring and controlling technical operations and reporting significant issues to the US Army Leadership; coordinating with the US Army Project Manager and Director of SoSI to ensure that all internal and external tasks and deadlines assigned to the execution of these duties are met.

Developed and validated vehicle chemical, biological, radiological & nuclear (CBRN) protection and detection subsystems for integration into wheeled and tracked combat vehicles. Worked on the design of the CBRN subsystems for the Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS)-Manned Ground Vehicle (MGV) program, the Marine's Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV), and GD's prototype design for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) proposal. Also conducted retrofit and redesign related to the CBRN subsystems for existing combat vehicles such as the M1 Abrams Tank and the Stryker Family of Vehicles. Assisted in the design and development of the Water Purification & Filtration (WPF) subsystem for the FCS-MGV program. Organized, developed, lead, and participated in studies and analyses in support of CBRN engineering efforts. Functioned as an interdisciplinary team member, supporting engineering projects in trade-off analyses, sub-system evaluations, requirements development and requirements analyses. Prepared and presented written technical and status reports and presentations of CBRN/WPF engineering research and design.

Maintained facility compliance with ISO 14001 and all applicable local, county, state & federal environmental regulations for a million square foot, 1,400 UAW employee Tier I automotive parts manufacturer. Named Pollution Engineering Magazine's "Facility of the Year" - August 2005 issue. Experience with facility air emissions, RCRA compliance, waste management budgets and contracts, recycling, UST's/AST's, SPCC plans, equipment and process reviews, inspections, permit application & reporting, NPDES compliance, regulatory correspondence & reports, interfacing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, employee training, hazardous material emergency coordination, and DOT issues. Additional program management responsibilities in health & safety programs, potable and production water quality, and voluntary Federal and State environmental certification programs.

Acted as Senior Project Manager on multiple, government funded research technical projects. Performed technical environmental assessment and assistance services focused on manufacturing process improvement, ISO 14001 EMS implementation and health & safety. Also developed computer tools, techniques, and training materials for manufacturers and technical service providers.

Developed, implemented, and evaluated environmental, health and safety procedures and employee training programs. Solely responsible for ensuring EPA, MDEQ, DOT, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance for a 770 employee, Tier I automotive prototype parts supplier to Ford.
