-Acts as primary focal point of all information related to pre-execution planning activities to facilitate development of detailed and comprehensive contractual work packages between various sub-contractors and the customer using the Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) Application-Acts as liaison between planning efforts and scheduling coordination to meet JFMM milestone requirements, as well as provides comprehensive review of current projected work load and period of performance evaluations based on current projected durations, using technical trade knowledge and historical data-Has detailed knowledge of technical requirements and documents, including but not limited to: General Specification for Ship’s Overhaul (GSO), Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), and Naval Ship’s Technical Manuals (NSTM) for use and incorporation into detailed 4-E work specifications for a wide varieties of shipboard systems, repairs, and alterations-Creates and maintains tracking tools which are utilized to track progress of work package development from 2-Kilo issue to final Issue/Publish and Proposal development for all home-ported surface ships for various types of availabilities, including Emergent Repairs, and CNO availabilities, can be coordinating and management up to 6 upcoming projects at any given time-Effective communication of expectations and requirements between suppliers or vendors, and planning contractors to ensure that work scope is completely understood, to minimize rework and contract changes during the execution phase of production work-Develops Process Control Procedures (PCP), to include Expanded Process Control Procedures (EPCP) as required by the technical work document to meet NAVSEA Standard Item requirements -Ensures that Contractual deadlines and Milestone dates are met as required by the contract and is able to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions to ensure that work is accomplished correctly, the first time.

1-Supervises and accomplishes Quality Assurance activities in the areas of quality management and planning, production inspection and testing, subcontractor control, receipt inspection, surveillance, calibration, system or process auditing, and nondestructive testing for project and production activities. 2-Evaluates status of Quality Management System and keeps the Program Manager informed of progress, problems, and recommended solutions. Develops and maintains a system for the evaluation and reporting of the effectiveness of control methods and techniques established by the quality system. 3-Participates as a member of the Project Management Team, and effectively communicates with customer representatives. 4- Assists in the resolution of quality discrepancies by coordinating internal and external corrective action activities. 5- Assists in maintenance of the Quality Control (QC) Inspection System by advising, assisting, and monitoring QC Inspectors, and QC inspection activities and functions. 6- Develops and maintains Inspection/Test Plans and associated records and documentation; prepares project- or process-unique work instructions. 7- Verifies work item status by witnessing, conducting or assisting in the performance of inspection or test events. 8- Evaluates incoming vendor supplied materials and equipment, and subcontractor services, for conformance to specified requirements and reaches an accept or reject decision based on these results; prepares inspection documentation evidencing inspection activity and assists in disposition of nonconformance. 9- Evaluates and Generates detailed responses, with corrective action OQE, to Customer issued Corrective Action Requests (CAR) by evaluating proper root cause analysis to ensure Long-Term Corrective actions taken by the company meet the requirements of the contract, and prevent non-conformance.
