Senior Phyisician Assistant
CurrentUnder the general supervision of the Director and UCLA Orthopedic Hospital Associates Medical Group responsible for direct patient care managing a general orthopedic clinic practice utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach referring for specialty and/or surgical care as needed. Assist with coordinating the care for oncology orthopedic surgical pre- and post-operative cases. Perform or assist in ordering laboratory and diagnostic procedures necessary for diagnosis and treatment. Provide patient/family education and counseling, review therapy plans, patient progress and provide ongoing patient support as needed. Continue to maintain clinical excellence in the practice of orthopedics with casting/splinting/suturing, joint injections, chronic sprains/strains, fractures and dislocations
