I started my career in EMS volunteering with Mineola Ambulance on Long Island in 2004. In 2007 I joined the FDNY as an EMT and was assigned to Station 50 in Jamaica, Queens.2010 I graduated Paramedic Basic 12 and was assigned to Station 47 in Far Rockaway, during this time I also completed training as a Haztac Paramedic.In 2014 I completed Rescue Paramedic training and was assigned to Station 45 in Woodside.In 2017 I became a union delegate for Local 2507 representing the EMT’s and Paramedics In 2019 I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Station 16 in HarlemSince being promoted I have competed training in Peer Support and have been an active member of the FDNY EMS peer support team since 2020, I also completed the West Point Combating Terrorism Leadership Course, and the Safety Command Fatal Fire and Accident Investigation Class.
