Started with company in Information Systems department as Computer Operations Assistant. Moved to Technical Department in 2005 to Certifications Technician; responsible for maintaining database of supplier certificates of analysis and sending out letters of compliance to customers. In October 2008 became Regulatory Coordinator; responsible for obtaining and supplying documents covering numerous regulatory issues (e.g., CONEG, FDA, UL, NSF) for customers and maintaining database of these, as well as technical data sheets and safety data sheets. I have become an in-demand public speaker on regulatory topics in the industry, and created a "Regulatory 101" course to assist internal and external customers with the most basic regulatory issues they are likely to face. Promoted to Senior Regulatory Specialist in 2022, and am responsible for mentoring the current Regulatory Specialist.

Founder of a professional DJ service, aimed primarily at business functions, weddings and private parties. Specialization is classic rock/oldies. Most notably served as the DJ/Master of Ceremonies for American Cancer Society events in Lake and Cook County in 2008-2015, Resurrection High School in 2011-2014, and at various events at Gurnee Mills Mall in 2010-2014.

Founded independent music review site and maintained site for first seven years, contributed over 1,000 reviews over a 15-year period.

First music director for low-power community radio station. Worked to provide a diverse music library, not merely focusing on the familiar songs heard on most stations. Hosted "All Access" at same time, playing more obscure tracks from familiar (and not-so-familiar) bands. Left station in 2008 to focus on family, but remained on as a de-facto consultant, as well as lead anchor for coverage of memorial service for former Illinois State Senator Adeline Geo-Karis and Election Night 2008. Returned as on-air personality for "All Access" until my depature from the station in August 2009.
