In a very short time achieved a 10-30% cost savings across the board with the client’s largest global vendors; this was done by consolidating vendors, discussing mutual benefits, and negotiating new pricing. In this time I also assisted in an implementation which helped shape a program to redesign and restructure the supply chain operation for all of the client’s North American plants. This was accomplished by standardizing procedures and creating a data inventory of over 10,000 parts; this, along with the implementation of the program, increased through-put while simultaneously decreasing operational expense and inventory resulting in steep client savings. Responsible for 95% of all plant purchasing; tracking and monitoring purchase order’s from request to delivery, receiving of parts, managing product flow throughout the plant, and tracking inventory usage.
