I am a highly experienced finance and risk professional who has spent years with KPMG getting stuck into the workings of complex organisations from a financial, risk and operational perspective. With lots of experience running projects, taking complex information and communicating it succinctly to senior management at the largest companies around the world, and fostering strong relationships, I'm looking to switch away from consulting and into an in-house role to grow my skills and bring value to an interesting and societally beneficial endeavour. My most recent role was focused on strategic risk - bringing a top-down, innovative perspective to risk identification and assessment that seeks to move risk management away from a box-ticking exercise to a value-add proposition by making risk workshops collaborative and engaging, and raising awareness that risks manifest as a network, not individually. Balanced, well developed inter-personal and communication skills allow me to support effective engagement and communication with all levels of management.
