Served as the Chief Engineer Advisor for US Army South - Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. Responsible for inspections and advise on bridging, rafting, and river crossing operations, and supervises general engineering activities related to all construction and utility operations. The Chief Engineer Advisor also: formulates and maintains construction schedules; assists in supervision of troops in assault operations; performs ground and aerial reconnaissance; advises engineer staff section personnel in matters involving combat engineer operations; assists the engineering officer in construction planning, scheduling, and material estimating; helps prepare operation orders, standing operating procedures, and contingency plans. Additionally, the Chief Engineer Advisor: coordinates with staff agencies for engineer operational and support; coordinates employment of engineer elements operating with infantry and armored units; inspects construction sites and enforces job specification and safety standards; collects, interprets, analyzes, evaluates, and disseminates intelligence data; provides staff supervision and supervisor direction to units engaged in performing engineering missions; inspects construction and training activities.

Served as the Command Sergeant Major of the National Training Center's (NTC) Operations Group responsible for improving the combat readiness of all Forces Command (FORSCOM) units training at the NTC by coaching execution of wartime tasks through senior leaders' After Action Reviews (AARs) and the FORSCOM Commander's vision through doctrine; the professional development of over 600 soldiers; supervising the management of maintenance and accountability of over $193,133,934 worth of equipment; mentoring over 300 senior Observer Coach/Trainers (OC/Ts) on doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures; assisting the commander in matters pertaining to the readiness, training, certification, morale and welfare of 144 Department of the Army civilians and over 600 soldiers.

Served as the Senior Enlisted Engineer Trainer for the National Training Center (NTC) Maneuver Support Team responsible for improving the combat readiness of all Brigade Special Troops Battalion and Brigade Engineer Battalions training at the NTC by coaching the wartime tasks of Engineer, Intelligence, Military Police and Signal soldiers and their units; monitoring safety and conducting professional After Action Reviews (AARs); ensuring units conduct tough, realistic, multi-echelon, joint and combined arms training in complex situations across the range of military operations; training an Observer/Coach Trainers (OC/T) team comprised of 52 senior trainers.

Served as the Command Sergeant Major for a Modular Construction Effects Battalion assigned to Forces Command, Joint Base Lewis - McChord, Washington with a mission to deploy and conduct general engineering operations. Advises Commander on all enlisted personnel matters; responsible for the health and welfare of over 780 assigned soldiers; monitors quality of life programs for soldiers and their families; provides oversight on individual training for 38 different military occupational skills. Provides counsel and guidance to supervisors, leaders and enlisted soldiers of the command and assists in inspection of command activities, facilities and personnel as prescribed by the Commander.

Served as the Operations Sergeant Major for an 860 soldier Modular Engineer Battalion assigned to Forces Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky with a mission to deploy and conduct general engineering operations. Responsible for the health, welfare, moral and training of a 35 soldier section. Serves as the principle enlisted advisor in all matters in support of brigade and five subordinate companies and two detachments. Oversees the tracking and operations of three operational shifts for two deployable command posts and the effective utilization of all personnel in the section and execution of all battalion training events and ceremonies.

Served as the Plans Sergeant Major for a forward deployed engineer brigade assigned to 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Heidelberg, Germany with a mission to deploy and conduct general engineering operations. Responsible for the health and welfare, morale and training of a 31 soldier section. Served as the principal enlisted advisor in all engineering matters in support of the 25th Infantry Division and four subordinate battalions. Oversees the tracking of three operational shifts, effective utilization of all personnel in the section and execution of all brigade ceremonies.

Served as the First Sergeant for a forward deployed 134 soldier headquarters assigned to US Army Europe, Heidelberg, Germany with a mission to deploy and conduct general engineering operations. Directly responsible for the accountability, training, discipline, safety, health and welfare of 134 soldier. Served as chief advisor to the Commander on all matters pertaining to the professional development, retention, equal opportunity and administrative actions for soldiers. Maintained accountability of 59 vehicles and associated equipment valued at $10,370,000.

Served as the Department of Public Works Sergeant for US Army Europe’s largest directorate of Public Works, Wurzburg, Germany consisting of 320 civilians in support of the 417th Base Support Battalion. Directly responsible for the supervision of operations, maintenance, and facility support of six installations. Supervises engineering and environmental operations for senior tactical commanders, including environmental compliance, fire prevention, buildings and grounds, infrastructure and utility maintenance, and construction contract administration with an annual budget of $40,000,000.
