Testing and verification of SLS Flight Software supporting the Artemis project.

Developed software as part of the data production team supporting the NASA Short-Term Prediction Research and Transition center (SPoRT), with a focus on satellite data. Performed routine software and data maintenance tasks at the request of SPoRT researchers. Modified existing software to better adhere to modern functionality. Developed novel back-end and front-end software; major projects include satellite imaging software (Python), data downloader and dissemination software (Python), and a web page with search functionality for SPoRT satellite training modules (React JavaScript framework). Sharpened developer toolset through exposure to multiple programming languages (HTML, JavaScript) and development tools (PyCharm, Docker, Git).

Performing graduate research ~20-30 research hours/week during academic year, ~30-40 research hours/weekduring the summer, took at least 9 hours of coursework per semester, maintaining effectivecommunication with advisor regarding research, assisting summer REU/RCEU students under my advisor with their research. Plan is to complete thesis and M.S. degree by spring 2022.

This position was data entry-focused. My main job was to enter information from car repair invoices across the country into a neatly formatted document and make sure that the totals match up and are accurate. After this, the document is sent to the customer of that car repair job.

Assisted with different forecasting tasks, learned AWIPS and GR2Analyst software programs, helped with socialmedia communication, weather briefings, radar/sensor measurements, learned the organizationalstructure of the NWS, case studies, sat in on a real-time severe weather operation to conclude the program.

Helped out with an introductory-level meteorology/agronomy course; graded homework assignments, entered their scores on Canvas, tutored students in need of help, helped maintain online course database, and resolved grading conflicts.
