Hygiene Group Ltd is a nationwide cleaning firm working for many blue chip companies specialising in food and pharmaceuticals. My position was as the Trainee Manager at their contract with Cadbury's in Marlbrook, Hereford. The main duties entail managing a staff of 15 on a daily basis. This involved ensuring all members of staff were working efficiently, reviewing staffing levels, carrying out team meetings on a monthly basis and monitoring staff attendance, holding meetings with staff whose attendance is unacceptable. I was the first point of contact for Cadbury management, where weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting were held. I also carried out the majority of the on site administration. This included preparing for site audits, staff wages, risk assessments and method statement, and the monitoring and procurement of stock levels. During my time with Hygiene my attendance was 100%, and I have been called upon to travel to other sites to help with paper work and general management. I am a fast leaner, demonstrated in my quick progression from Administrator in October 2007, to Trainee Manager in February 2008. I have also gained my Passport to Work qualification, which Hygiene used instead of the Basic Food Hygiene Course.
