Coordinate all software and hardware change requests between the local customer and multiple vendors. Ensure the customer has a strong voice in the development and implementation of requested hardware and software solutions.

SITEC Distributed Computing – Hurlburt Field, FLSupport all network printers / systems on Hurlburt Field and interact with all end users for baseline software troubleshooting. Responsible for maintaining over 1500 printers on five different print servers; update drivers, clear print queues and verify DHCP reservations. Control all computer accounts in Active Directory on NIPR and SIPR networks; add, remove and reset computer accounts. Primary on vulnerability management that is reported by SCCM; if vulnerabilities are not fixed computers are removed from the domain. Troubleshoot and setup all thin clients; verify that the port is active and correct IP is assigned to dumb terminal. Work hand in hand with CSTs to make sure they have the support they need to complete their mission. Responsible for creating and updating all processes and procedures for SITEC Desktop Support Team; create and update processes and procedures in Word and Visio. Use Remedy on a daily basis to support end users and fix any problems that they submit a ticket for.

Maintain all systems / databases within; Intranet, Automated Business Services System (ABSS) and various USAF dedicated software packages. Duties include the physical maintenance, inventory and configuration of all computer hardware, software, and peripherals assigned to the FM function. This includes but is not limited to, 57 desktop systems, 12 portable notebook systems, 3 servers, and 10 network printers. Responsible for providing Help Desk support to 35 users in the CPTS function, and assists on an as-needed basis, the client IS/IT function in fulfilling user support to the Wing as a whole. Serves as the technical advisor to the Comptroller and FM staff in maintaining and implementing new financial systems software. Has a hands-on role in installation/configuration and training of users, and takes an active role in implementation planning. Has proven to be an invaluable part of the FM team. Is responsible for planning and providing budget information for all IT purchases within the FM function. Has a unique ability to translate technical specifications and instructions into layman’s terms, providing an important liaison between off-site connections and help desk systems and the local staff he supports. Configured a new Kofax machine that allowed travel vouchers and military pay changes to be sent directly to the financial center. Worked 40 hours a week for 50,000 dollars a year.

Led a 16 person team that supported all IT functions for Pope AFB and 1,000+ users. Reviewed the needs and supported all missions including but not limited to logistics, flying and squadron FM functions. In charge of all updates and upgrading all computers on base to a new operating system through SCCM. Kept the print server for Pope AFB, over 300 printers, updated and running without any issues that allowed paperwork like travel vouchers and EPRs to be completed. Analyzed and executed plans for any VIPs that visited Pope AFB that required wireless internet and laptops set up in lodging. Provided secondary support to all squadrons that had a Functional System Administrator to include Logistics Readiness Squadron, Combat Control School, Comptrollers Squadron and Special Tactics Squadron. Also received estimates on purchasing and installing new furniture in the CSA Call Center that met the yearly budget of the Communications Squadron. When transitioning out of the Air Force to civilian provided primary support for all FM functions for two months while the current Financial Systems Analyst was on paternity leave and transitioning to their new position.

Responsible for verifying that all job information gets inputted into Core Automated Maintenance System correctly. Installed and maintained the Tool Accountability System for local support section for tools worth over one million dollars. As a technician I made sure all community computers within squadron where accounted for, receiving updates and where online. Verified all security measures were in place so no illegal use of a government system was attempted.
