An educator with degrees from Boston College and Harvard, I have been a full-time teacher since 2013, when I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from one of the top 10 Education Schools in the country, the Rossier School of Education at USC. Along with the program I acquired my California credential, which was cleared in 2015 after a year of review. Growing up, I was fortunate to have received a strong education thanks to my parents with experiences at Philip's Exeter Academy, International Baccalaureate classes in Cambridge and Oxford, and of course, graduate classes at Harvard. Later in life, I received scholarships to study in Germany and Greece and have spent time traveling South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.As a teacher, I've taught a variety of Middle and High School classes from remedial Math and English to Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. In graduate school, I worked as a teaching assistant in the fields of History and Religion; as a student teacher, my first full time assignment was in a California Alternative Continuation school; however, the majority of my teaching has taken place in diverse Los Angeles charter schools and abroad in the American International School of Thessaloniki, Greece. Yet, no matter the location or the student, one thing is always clear--students feel best when they work hard, can see their growth, and are successful in the end.
