I have been in the data center industry for over 10 years and have grown exponentially, just as the industry has. I started my data center career with TechnoGuard, Inc., where I cleaned data centers and all of it’s critical infrastructure. The opportunity opened my eyes to a great industry and I used my passion for IT to fuel my growth. After cleaning, installing containment solutions, leak detection, and leading crews, I realized it was time to grow. I moved further into the data center field as an operations technician for CyrusOne, where I performed common operational tasks like chiller rotations, power whip verifications, monitored the building through BMS, and more. This path opened my eyes to the cabling and IT side of the house. I quickly grew as a Service Delivery tech 1, to tech 2, to tech 3, and then supervisor. While performing the service Delivery work, I found my true passion in project management. Today, I implement customers from 5 kW to 100 MW, and everything in between. I’ve learned to embrace challenges and use every lesson learned to grow personally and professionally.I am always looking to learn and grow, and can’t wait for what the future holds for us all!
