AWS S3 was initially used for email storage but was later migrated to Azure blob storage. Developed smaller datasets such as identity membership with traditional relational database structures utilizing MySql and MSSQL depending on the requirements. • Website development: Created an MVC web app to allow users to block or allow emails and to set custom configurations. Bootstrap, JQuery and CSS modifications created a more dynamic and clean environment for the end user. Stored procedures and views were implemented to keep the data efficient and normalized. • Backend logic: Developed C# Azure cloud worker roles to retrieve emails at timed intervals. Object oriented design and classes were heavily emphasized to ensure compartmentalization and easy debugging.

Indexing, stored procedures and views became a necessity after about 1 million products due to the search speed needed for larger data sets. • Website: Embedded JQuery and CSS to give a smooth aesthetic feel to the website and to enable more complex features such as auto-complete. Designed custom URL rewriting to give the website the appearance of having static pages that were being retrieved from the database. • Backend logic: Created a native program in VB to run on a VPS that would automatically retrieve the CSV feeds, clean and then inject the data into the database. Automatic database optimizations such as rebuilding indexes and maintenance were triggered during non-peak hours.

• Management: Maintained merchant bank contracts. Implemented competitive bidding strategies for online marketing. • Integrated multiple ecommerce technologies including SSL, payment gateway API's, and web hosting to create a live e-commerce website. • Managed an annual advertising budget of over $1 million on platforms such as Ebay, Pricegrabber, Shopping.com, Nextag, magazines and newspapers. Forecasted inventory requirements based on sales history or the economic climate.
