As a software developer, I've written a lot of code, but working on small teams means I've done much more than just that in my career. No matter the task, I strive to deliver solid work. When my code does what it should, when I support colleagues, when clients are satisfied, that’s when I'm most proud.Some accomplishments:- I was lead developer and administrator for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory’s Drupal-based intranet, serving 5,000 users. Some notable features I implemented include building a granular email notification system, retrofitting the site to send cryptographically-signed emails, rapidly deploying a Covid-19 information hub, and creating an anonymous suggestion box to communicate with senior leadership.- I developed process and custom tools for managing a fleet of 100+ Drupal sites, including tools for automating tasks, monitoring site health, deploying updates, identifying vulnerabilities, and performing other DevOps duties.- I took on a variety of information security and compliance responsibilities, including maintaining access controls, handling PII, addressing advisories and Acunetix vulnerability scans, and implementing zero-day mitigations.- I used Laravel, a modern PHP framework, to implement API features for Nudgehero, a medication reminder application.- I implemented an AWS Lambda function in Python to let a physical Amazon IoT button trigger server-side code for Nudgehero.Skills:Technologies: PHP, Python, Javascript ES6, C, C++, Java, Bash, Zsh, PowerShell, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, Docker, AWS, Git, Postman, cURL, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, Numpy, Google Sheets, RegExOSes: Windows, Mac OS, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS).Frameworks: Drupal, Laravel, FlaskClearance: Active Secret ClearanceCertifications: CompTIA Network+ (satisfies IAT Level I), currently pursuing Security+ (will satisfy IAT Level II)I aim to be a resource.
